About Me

Hershey Wingler

actress . improvisor . writer . voice over artist

Hershey Wingler comes to LA direct from the wide-open spaces of Texas. Always the over-achiever, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BFA in Musical Theatre - Acting Emphasis, from Sam Houston State University.  After settling in LA annnnd eventually leaving her day job to pursue her dream full-time, Hershey studied improv at UCB & iO West, finding she took to improv like a fish to water. She began performing at UCB, Second City, & still performs make-em-ups monthly on iO West’s mainstage. Check her out!

In addition to comedy and her grounded roots in serious acting training, Hershey has trained in voice-over with the experts at Kalmenson & Kalmenson. She's finally listening to the voices in her head! She is currently working on a mystery and paranormal online show as the eerie narrator, and recently wrapped a PSA recorded by some up and coming directors of VO.

Hershey also loves using her curiosity & ability to think quickly on her feet, hosting. Getting to know people is some of the most fun one can have, so why can't it be a job?

Hershey’s talent & training has given her the opportunity to work in TV (Friday Night Lights), webseries (Fitzgerald is Missing - NOW ON AMAZON!), award-winning films (Me+Her), classical theatre (Twelfth Night), new work (Catholic Olympics), as well as commercials, industrials, & voiceover projects.

The characters Hershey plays all seem to be charismatic, independent, quick-witted, sassy, strong, intelligent women, & Hershey really likes that trend. In the off chance Hershey isn't performing or taking classes, she can be found working out (Body Beast, Combat, Insanity, anyone?), eating food, sipping good whiskey, doing “research” (watching TV & movies), or cuddling with her fur-babies, Jack Burton & Miao Yin.
